After 20 years of practicing herbal medicine and learning from the plants, I have developed an eclectic approach to clinical herbalism and herbal studies that weaves together the wisdom of Western herbalism and Traditional Chinese Medicine with my own understanding of herbal healing.
Grounded in the use of regional plants, I offer my clients and students an opportunity to recognize the healing that surrounds them by introducing native and naturalized plants as remedies.
As an accomplished third generation chef with an affinity for traditional Greek cuisine, wild foods and Mediterranean cooking, I bring the essence of each into my recommendations and approach to learning the art of herbalism.
For those interested in exploring new horizons, I co-lead a trip most years to the Greek island of Crete for a total immersion into native Mediterranean herbs, foods and culture.
Next trip is planned for spring 2014. Learn more at my Wild Crete Travel website.
I invite you to contact me to learn more about booking a personal herb consultation, at my office in Clayton (Rabun County). Skype and phone appointments are also available.
Or join me for one of the many herb walks, seminars or workshops I offer here in the north Georgia Mountains and at events around the country. Learn more about my upcoming herb events here.
I know you'll experience a new perspective about your own healing as you deepen your relationship with herbs, foods and the rhythm of the seasons.
